Real Estate Tax Consultancy

Antti Karppinen has worked as a real estate tax expert since 2012 and has been involved in reviewing the taxation of thousands of properties across a wide range of building types, including offices, industrial and logistics facilities, residential buildings, retail properties, parking structures, power plants, and more.

Over the years, these reviews have resulted in significant tax refunds and savings for a broad spectrum of property owners, including both professional real estate investors and owner-occupiers. Antti’s consultancy experience covers the review of large property portfolios as well as individual assets, the preparation of appeals to Administrative Courts and the Supreme Administrative Court, and the preparation of real estate tax assessments for development projects, refurbishment projects, and future-year budgeting purposes.

LEED Certifications for Existing Buildings

Mikael Nyländen has certified the largest number of LEED O+M: Existing Buildings projects in Finland since 2018. In addition, his LEED AP O+M credential supports an efficient certification process from the client’s perspective.

His in-depth expertise in the specific requirements of LEED certifications enables projects to achieve the highest possible certification levels, including the most demanding performance criteria.

Mikael has also served as an expert speaker on LEED environmental certifications at Vihreä foorumi briefing sessions facilitated by the Finland Green Building Council (FIGBC).

  • 120 LEED O+M: Existing Buildings certifications completed in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, and Lithuania

  • 1.9 million square metres of certified gross floor area
